President Trump’s team is once again ruffling international feathers with a new plan for import tariffs imposed on 60 trade allies, facing levies of either 10% or 12.5%. In an update released overnight, the United States Trade Representative claimed a number of trade partners had failed to effectively handle goods produced with forced labor, which were therefore subject to action under Section 301(b) of the Trade Act.

Jensen Huang has done pretty well out of the AI boom: As the CEO of Nvidia, he now sits on a net worth of approximately $186 billion, and has made multiple members of his board billionaires by association. It’s a trend Huang seems keen to continue: Sharing the enormous wealth that is being generated by the potential of artificial intelligence, with Nvidia positioned as a key part of the engine, while keeping staff motivated.
