Eliminating Options

I would like an opinion on this watch: Montblanc 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen The 8000 Hello everyone, First off, the street price of this watch is around €5,500, so please don't consider the retail price relevant to the discussion. I would particularly like to hear from anyone who has seen or handled one in person. How are the finishing and the movement? The Montblanc website is quite "fashion-oriented" and provides very little technical information.

Does anyone else have issue buying watches on straps and need XL? With the exception of Nomos, it was necessary either to purchase an additional strap from the manufacturer or buy aftermarket. Until I bought a Meistersinger. I inquired regarding an XL; they are sending one. No exchange, no charge, just excellent customer service.

I,m on a roll, after working for years and not have time to enjoy or pursue hobbies outside my family. I saw an field/army, CWC watch on ebay and i jumped back to the mid 70s when I was issued my first watch, I looked into it and realised it could of been one of several in that period in time.
