Interview
Have you ever used a typewriter?
My parents had a Brother brand typewriter when I was in elementary school. I thought it was pretty cool except I am a mess with whiteout.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I'm a junkie for new experiences.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Nope, I got kicked off my high school paper before ever working for it. My transgression was going "off campus" during summer newspaper camp.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
The most interesting stories come from the best questions. What question are you trying to answer in your piece? Always be curious.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Over email, anytime.
