How Much Does a Mini-Split Installation Cost?

MORGAN FREEMAN'S 9/11 TAKE PANNED
Morgan Freeman, who stars in "The Sum of All Fears," raised some New Yorkers' eyebrows by saying the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center were not a national trauma. Court helps rehabilitate veterans in criminal justice system
In October 2015, the District Court of Maryland in Baltimore City launched its first Veterans Treatment Court, helping veterans in the criminal justice system get back on the right track. Having served their country honorably, many veterans find the transition from military to civilian life to be difficult. One in five veterans have symptoms of a mental health disorder or cognitive impairment, and one in six post-9/11 veterans suffer from a substance abuse problem.
Veterans Mentor Program seeks volunteers
The Veterans Treatment Court in Maryland provides a mentor program that pairs veterans with volunteer mentors who help them navigate the VTC system to maximize its potential benefits. In addition, the mentor program provides camaraderie to the veteran and in some cases long-term support, even after the VTC case reaches a final disposition. These volunteer mentors are specially trained, and many are veterans themselves who are uniquely qualified to understand and provide needed support.

Pillows for the Children at HCRM
I visited Haiti Children's Rescue Mission orphanage in Gressier, Haiti a few weeks ago and realized their needs are huge. Most of the 44 children there sleep in a bed without even a sheet and there are no pillows for anyone - not even the 13 of us who went on the trip and experienced first-hand what it is like to live in those conditions. It was heartbreaking to put the little kids to bed alone in the dark.
