Abstract LGBTQ+ youth are more likely to attempt suicide in comparison to their cisgender, heterosexual peers. Despite a UK national suicide prevention strategy, there have been minimal efforts to address this mental health inequality. Our aim was to provide evidence to guide suicide prevention strategies by examining risk and protective factors. Our LGBTQ+ youth advisory group were involved in all aspects of the study. We conducted an online self-complete, cross-sectional questionnaire.

It’s a tale as old as time—or at least as old as Fairfield University’s ever-growing student body. If you’ve ever found yourself circling campus parking lots like a shark hunting for prey, you’re not alone. The parking situation at Fairfield, particularly during peak class times, has left many students frustrated, late or contemplating skipping class altogether. For students commuting from off-campus housing, finding a spot is often more stressful than the actual coursework.
