The Cambridge University Guild of Change Ringers was founded in 1879Faris Qureshi for Varsity Walk around Cambridge, and you’ll often hear bells ringing out from the local churches. What might surprise students is that, more often than not, it’s other students ringing them. As we get closer to Michaelmas term, I’ve begun to wonder which niche societies will attract this year’s incoming freshers. The Cambridge University Guild of Change Ringers (CUGCR) was founded in 1879.
