Complete with exposed wooden floor and wonderfully moustachioed bartender, the effortlessly cool aesthetic Leisure Theory present was complete. Comprised of students Jake Smith, Tom Wynne, and Quentin Wylie, Leisure Theory are tackling the Manchester music scene with an entirely new approach.

According to Street Support, over 3,000 people are sleeping rough in Manchester, a reflection of the 900 per cent increase in homelessness since 2010.

Sitting in the waiting room, it was impossible to not notice the sense of inclusion, kindness, and passion surrounding LGBT people and issues. This week, I spoke with the LGBT-F Women’s Officer, Claudia Carvell.
