Why did you become a journalist?
I was discouraged away from broadcast due to a terrible college professor.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
In high school I was actually focused on broadcast with a focus on behind the scenes work, and in college I jumped into journalism.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time. Twitter or email works best.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Swimming, biking, or running. When I'm not doing that, hanging with my dogs.
