What was your first job as a journalist?
I was a part-time writer for closeupfilm.com and covered the Jon Stewart Oscars (from home), and even met Ewan MacGregor!
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I learned to type on one in high school. I was shocking at it - small hands... Laptops are infinitely better, but the sound isn't as cool.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Lots and lots, including: WordPress, Ahrefs, Tineye, open source WP software, Google Sheets, Wiki, Getty, Fotor, OIE, Insta, TikTok, Twitter

Why did you become a journalist?
One reason: Smash Hits. That's it. I wanted to be Alex Kadis. Funny, smart, sarcastic, I loved it. I actually did my work experience there :)
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Not so much a newspaper as the yearbook, which my best friend and I initiated, wrote, researched, edited and sold. Yes, we were very cheesy.
