Ever since 2016, there has been an unofficial, yet special holiday around this time of year that many with Spotify accounts eagerly anticipate. Spotify Wrapped Day!!! Spotify Wrapped is a recap of all the music you have listened to throughout the year and is presented in a slideshow you can share with friends. It tells you about your top five artists, albums, and how many minutes you listened to in the year, along with a bunch of other stats for listeners.

Canyon in Yellow is a painting that explores my obsession with western landscapes. This work has gone through multiple iterations, starting with a smaller 5”x7” inch mini sketch. I experimented with multiple different ideas originally including a grayscale black and white sky with yellow and orange canyons. But, I ended up opting to include the blue sky as its large and looming presence is a large part of the beauty in the west.
