Elspeth Walker

I am a freelance writer, who focuses on creating work around the arts and culture sector. Reporting and writing about the visual arts in particular, my interests mostly focus on contemporary art, and how art interacts with modern society. I occasionally write creative pieces, limited to short story fiction and creative prose essays.

I am a graduate from the University of Warwick, where I achieved a high 2:1 in English Literature and Creative Writing (with intercalated year). Since then I have been writing for various publications, whilst working at the Hayward Gallery at the Southbank Centre. I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and absorbing as many art exhibitions as I can.
