My grandparents had one that I enjoyed playing with as a child, but professionally, I'm a Mac user til the day I die.

How is social media changing news?

It's making news more accessible, but it's having a major impact on the quality of in-depth journalism.

Andi Anderson from "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." She's my biggest inspiration.

It was Twitter (or should I say, X?) but these days I spend most of my social media time on TikTok.

So many, but I think my recent cover story for Relevant that featured my interview with Lauren Daigle.

Don't be afraid to pitch ideas. Even if it doesn't come to fruition, it can lead to something else, potentially even better.

8 am to 5 pm. My non-work hours are for me and me alone.

I ultimately had to pass on it, but I did receive a pitch for an aspiring singer who wrote 100 songs for her 100 lb dog...

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

Someone wanted to write an article about the best spiders to keep as a pet. For obvious reasons, I passed.

Dr. Pepper! It;s my go-to pick-me-up and energizer.

Watching movies on my couch.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

The Daily Beast is one of the first sites I check out every day.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

Covering religion, many people think you can't remain objective because of how personal the subject matter can be.
