Creatine has become one of the loudest supplements in the menopause space, with women being told it can help with muscle loss, brain fog, energy, strength and bone health. But scroll a little deeper online, the story gets messier. Some women say they gained several pounds within weeks. Others describe bloating, stomach cramping, diarrhea, cystic breakouts, feeling “wired” or noticing their already-fragile menopause sleep getting worse. None of that means creatine is bad.
