Pride is back again in New Hope, PA and Lambertville, N.J. May 19-17 and this year the theme is “Pride IN FULL COLOR.” This year’s annual PrideFest follows the same naming convention as many of New Hope Celebrates’ recent events, like Reigning Color for their Pride Pageant, and celebrates the arts community in New Hope. Mercury Stardust and Point of Pride raised more than $300,000 during their 5th Annual Stream-A-Thon for Trans Health. Their goal is to raise $1 million by the end of April. Stardust, also known as the Trans Handy Ma’am, is an influencer who shares home repair tips and is the author of two books on the subject. “What started as a drag show in a dive bar to raise $1k for gender affirming care for local transgender community members, turned into a 24-hour livestream to raise $24,000.
