The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards

2015 - Poetry, nonfiction

Growing up, I won Scholastic Art and Writing Awards at the national level every year, from 2011 to 2016, in both memoir and poetry. I earned the distinguished American Voices Award in 2014 and was published by the organization in collections of "The Best Teen Writing publications" in 2011, 2014, and 2015. As an adult, I returned to the organization, interning for the New York City office in 2018. From 2019 through 2022, I also served as a juror at both the local and national level, judging student works across all writing genres.
