Have you ever used a typewriter?
I remember playing with my mom's old type writer when I was around six. I wish I owned one, but at least I have the Lego typewriter set!

LinkedIn is my favorite social network because it gives me the opportunity to build connections with other writing and editing professionals.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I didn't work for my high school newspaper. I got into creative writing and blogging in college.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Learn to take rejections and critical feedback. I wouldn't be where I am today without having an open mind and willingness to learn.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
You can find me out walking local trails, watching Philly sports, reading or playing video games. If it's a clear night, I'm stargazing.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
My favorite publication to read outside of my own is Popular Science. They have a rich history covering science and tech innovations.
