The Nashville Predators chose Finland's Joakim Kemell with the 17th overall pick in Thursday's NHL Draft in Montreal. The right winger from the Liiga's JYP played in 39 games last season with 15 goals to lead Finnish elite league rookies. He also had eight assists. He scored six goals and two assists in five games at the 2022 U-18 World Championship. The Preds have picks in the third, fourth, fifth and seventh rounds.
