Hackers reveal Suno scraped music data from YouTube, Deezer, Genius, and more

Last month, The Atlantic’s AI Watchdog uncovered a massive dataset of over 12 million songs allegedly being used to train AI. Now, hackers have discovered a source code in Suno AI that potentially exposes a grand-scale act of data scraping across decades of copyrighted music. According to 404 Media, hacker ellie.191 discovered that Suno had scraped millions of hours of songs, lyrics and podcasts from Deezer, Genius, YouTube Music, and a slew of stock music libraries.

We don’t know how much Matty Healy might have knocked back at his stag do, but we do know one thing – he was certainly seeing double. Ahead of Healy’s wedding to American model Gabbriette Leigh Bechtel, clips have surfaced of the 1975 frontman belting along to his own songs at his Malibu bachelor party, courtesy of cover band The 9075. In each video that has been shared, Healy is having a marvellous time boogieing to his own music.
