Thousands of Alice Springs residents gathered on Thursday night to pay their respects to Kumanjayi Little Baby, a five-year-old Alice Springs girl whose body was found a week ago on the outskirts of town. At the local vigil, Leanne Liddle, the executive director of cultural reform at NT Police, read a statement on behalf of the little girl's mother. Her grandfathers spoke of their grief, organisations that worked tirelessly thanked NT police and the volunteers who helped search.
