Random House Children’s Books has announced the picture book debut of James Mercer, the Grammy-nominated frontman and founder of indie rock band The Shins. Book of Dreams, illustrated by Jacob Escobedo, is due from the Random House Studio imprint on March 2, 2027. It will also be released in audiobook format, narrated by the author, from Listening Library. An original lullaby by Mercer will follow.
