How is social media changing news?

With social media anyone can create the news, which increases transparency - and the risk of "fake news" surfacing.

What's your favorite social network?

TikTok - but I'm not very social on there.

Why did you become a journalist?

I have always loved cooking and writing, so being able to combine those two as a food journalist and recipe creator was meant to be.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Write about what you know and what you love. Read a lot - not just articles and non fiction, fiction also helps you develop your own style.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Early mornings, I love those early mornings!

What's your favorite drink?

Sparkling water and iced coffee in the summer, spicy chai lattes in the winter. And coffee, lots of it!

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

In the stables or out for a ride.
