Cyclic Processability of Functional Liquid Crystalline Epoxy Networks via Dynamic Ester Bonding
1 Introduction Liquid crystal epoxy networks (LCENs) have shown promising functional properties such as stimuli responsive shape memory behavior [1-14]. A relatively low crosslink density of such epoxies accommodates a morphology of many differently oriented uniaxial domains of liquid crystals that may become aligned under strain in a characteristic polydomain-monodomain transformation.
Interfacial Asymmetry and Surface Roughness Enhanced Topological-Hall-Like Transport in SRO/BTO/SRO Trilayers
1 Introduction Topological spin textures, such as magnetic skyrmions, have attracted considerable attention because they could generate real-space Berry curvature, give rise to unconventional transport signatures, and offer a promising basis for low-power and nonvolatile spintronic devices [1-6]. Among these signatures, the topological-Hall-like response (THE) is widely used as an electrical probe of noncoplanar magnetic textures [1-3, 7].
Advances in Computational and Experimental Approaches to Chemical Short-Range Order Formation in Multi-Principal Element Alloys
1 Introduction Multi-Principal Element Alloys (MPEAs), also referred to as High-entropy Alloys (HEAs) or Medium-entropy Alloys (MEAs), are defined by their near-equiatomic mixtures of five or more principal metallic elements, achieving elevated configurational entropy that thermodynamically stabilizes simple solid-solution phases [face-centered-cubic (FCC), body-centered-cubic (BCC), and hexagonal-close-packed (HCP)] over ordered intermetallic compounds [1-4].
