From Pervasive Beliefs To Wrongful Convictions Popular series like “Making a Murderer” and “The Confession Tapes” have raised public awareness of the possibility of wrongful convictions. Can cognitive psychology resolve why evidence of innocence is overlooked in cases of wrongful convictions?
