The W is back for the 30th season this spring. The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) currently has 15 teams across 12 states in the 2026 season, with the news dropping in May that the Connecticut Suns are planning to relocate and become the Houston Comets in 2027. Thirty-six girls were just drafted in the 2026 class on April 14.

Out of the three human live-action Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland, Maguire’s work can be listed amongst my favorites. But it really depends on which dimension and universe you meet Spider-Man, which determines your superhero experience. With the newest movie “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” starring Tom Holland and co-star and wife Zendaya, fans already have speculation of what’s to come on July 31. Peter is finally an independent adult and doing life on his own.

As we continue the conversation regarding music, I can vividly remember growing up and DJing on my parents’ cassette tapes. Yes, I said cassette tapes. No iPad, no phones, before mp3s. We listened to gospel, blues, pop, hip-hop, and lots of R&B. My mother’s favorite song was Maxwell’s cover of “A Woman’s Worth.” For many women, a music connection with their children naturally begins with the idea of being with a child.
