My first professional writing experience came while working as a marketing analyst for Insurance Leads, where I wrote articles that were published in industry trade publications.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes—and I hated it when the keys would stick. Even worse was making a mistake and trying to line everything up perfectly with correction tape and type over it. I definitely don’t miss that.
How is social media changing news?
Social media has made news faster and more immediate, but often less in-depth. Shorter news cycles create pressure to report and react quickly, which can come at the expense of context and deeper analysis.
