1. Introduction The growing demand for sustainable energy solutions has led to significant advancements in renewable technologies, including hydropower. One of the notable technologies in this field is river hydrokinetic turbines (RHKTs), which have gained attention due to their ability to utilize naturally available water velocity, which remains stable year-round [1]. RHKTs are especially beneficial for remote applications, particularly when integrated into microgrids.
