Incidentally Detected Ascending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm and Bicuspid Aortic Valve—Reply In Reply Dr Butler’s letter in response to our recent Clinical Challenge1 stresses the importance of genetic testing in ascending thoracic aortic aneurysms (ATAAs). We agree that genetic testing is critical and may affect a patient’s treatment plan and outcome.
