I don't read too many pitches.

Nothing special - Word, Wordpress, Outlook.

Why did you become a journalist?

I love learning and traveling, and writing is a great way to indulge both passions.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes, I was a sports editor.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

So many great assignments over the years, too many to list.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Start by writing about the things you know well - your city, your favorite restaurants, etc.
