West Grey to rezone land for new gravel pit near Allan Park

Council for the Municipality of West Grey have asked staff to prepare a bylaw to rezone lands along Concession 4 NDR to allow for the development of a gravel pit. The application from landowner Don Tremble was submit back in 2023, noting that his company Candue Homes needed raw material after costs went up.

Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Southwestern Ontario

Environment Canada says meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damage through Southwestern Ontario Tuesday evening. A yellow level thunderstorm warning has been issued for areas including Chatham-Kent, Windsor, Grey and Bruce County . A red tornado warning has also been issued for the City of London, Middlesex and Oxford County.
