Did you see my recap from this year’sNCA Sweets and Snacks Expo last week? If you missed it, check it out here and on Instagram. This was my tenth year attending the show. The specialty and organic sections are now huge. There were a ton of great new healthy food vendors, some that I know and have shared before. Of course, there were tons of awesome sweets and treats. Some of the ones I’m sharing all natural or “better for you” preparations.

You may remember my previous posts and giveaways of FabFitFun boxes. I usually give away all or most of the items from these quarterly boxes. Why do I keep the subscription active? I love to see what they pick and I always get my money’s worth by keeping one or two items. FabFitFun is ready for spring! The Summer ’24 Box is really nice and has a good retail value. It’s a fun mix of beauty and household goodies. I’m going to keep the earrings (not shown) and send everything else to a lucky winner.

And just like that, the heat’s back in Chicago, so I have summer running on my mind. If you’ve been around here, you know I’m not exactly built for heat. I have some old faves to recommend and a few new/new to me items for you to check out to make this heat more bearable. Five “Must Haves” for Summer Running Hat and Sunglasses – I’ve seen a bunch of stories recently about the impact of sun and UV rays to the eyes. I usually wear a hat or sunglasses.
