Erin Pierce

Having recently completed my Masters degree, I am continuing to pursue a career in Information Technology. While I am new to the field, I am a fast learner and very excited about what other opportunities this career might bring. I put in significant time and focus on my studies within the last year to complete my degree in that time frame, and I graduated with a 3.9 GPA.

I have prior experience in several other areas as well, with focus on the fields associated with my Bachelors degree from Northern Kentucky University. With background experience as a publicist, writer, publisher, editor, digital media specialist, and PR assistant, I have had experience writing for The Northerner, NKU's Student Independent Newspaper, as well as Soapbox Media Cincinnati where I focus on development news including organizational and economic trends, features, and hidden stories in the Cincinnati area. Most recently, I took on a role with HubShout LLC, focusing on SEO content marketing for small to medium businesses that the company represents.

I have also written for CincyMusic.com, highlighting album releases, covers, events, reviews, and press releases for local and national artists of all genres.

In 2016, I worked as a Communications/Multimedia Assistant for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, maintaining internal and external communications via emails, press releases, marketing campaigns, PR strategies, social media, digital editing, and more.

As a student/intern, I worked with ClearChannel Communications Inc. (now iHeart Media) as a Promotions/Marketing assistant, running station contests, station events, in-studio performances, the 2013 WEBN Riverfest/Fireworks show, and local sporting events.
