Annual healthcare spending is at all all-time high. National health care expenditures are projected to hit $3.2 trillion this year, meeting projections of 5.3 percent growth in 2015, with peak growth at 6.3 percent predicted by 2020, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. But how much are DFW residents spending on health care? The 205 ZIP codes evaluated for The List spent the substantial sum of $11.3 billion on health care in 2014.

Whether it is the red-hot economy, the continuing stream of corporate relocations or available jobs, DFW continues to attract new residents like moths to a flame. Dallas is the third fastest-growing city in the United States, according to Forbes list of America's 20 Fastest-Growing Cities 2015. Residents are moving in but they are also moving to the north of the Metroplex.
