What was your first job as a journalist?

I interned at Channel i News, a now defunct news channel in Singapore during my 2nd year in university. Went on TV just 3 days into the job.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Keep writing, be open-minded and try new things. Read.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Office hours. Do it via email, or a phone call.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

Some of the bad pitches include emails are obviously sent to multiple reporters that also got my name or my publication's name wrong.
