Nutrition is important outdoors. Historically people are either not bringing enough food when they're outside or they're focusing too much on one part of their diet. Neither of these are healthy for your average outdoor recreationist. Personally, I like Snickers bars and oatmeal.

About 10 leaders, old and new, packed up our Chevy Suburban and drove to Orford, NH on a tip from senior leader Ethan Daly. The Appalachian Trail runs through Orford, crossing over smaller peaks like Moose Mountain, Smarts Mountain, and the group's target for the day, Mt. Cube.
