Improving the speed and availability, for both good and bad. News gets to people quicker, but it's not always accurate or impartial.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Nikon D3200 camera, Voice Record 7, iPhone, Google Docs, MS Office, Apple Pages, Zoom, and Skype.
Why did you become a journalist?
I was interested in covering concerts and interviewing performers.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, but I did work on the school literary magazine, manually typing in the winning stories & poems. I also had stories & poems published.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Look at all sides of the story.

Late morning

Q: "Could Jethro Tull be on your TV show?" A: "Let me think about that for half-a-second...Yes!"
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
A reader only providing a very generic name, claiming the subject had something to do with creation of the Colt .45 but no evidence.
