The Oxford Science Park, which is majority owned by Magdalen College, has revealed plans to refurbish and fit out Northbrook House. The 23,088 sq ft building was acquired from Brydell Partners last year with a view to turn it into a flexible laboratory and write-up hub for life science and technology companies.

The Crown Estate has lodged proposals to reimagine the 20-acre Cambridge Business Park into a mixed-use centre within the wider innovation region. The project is part of the Crown Estate’s wider long-term ambition to invest up to £1.5bn in the science, technology and innovation sectors nationally. The regeneration of the park, which is expected to take between 10 and 15 years to complete, will bring together homes, workspaces, public realm, amenities, leisure, entertainment, restaurants and cafes.
