Microalloying as a key strategy to maximize the strength-ductility combination in dilute titanium alloys

The main idea of this approach is to activate a novel strengthening mechanism, i.e. precipitation strengthening with nanoscale β particles located inside the α matrix.
Drug likeliness, pharmacokinetics profiling and efficacy of Polyscias fulva bioactive compounds in the management of uterine fibroids; An Integrative in silico and in vivo approach
Uterine leiomyomas (fibroids) are the most common pelvic tumours among women of reproductive age, affecting more than 70% of women worldwide [1]. Several factors contribute to the growth and progression of fibroids, including; genetic, biological, and hormonal factors [2]. Leiomyomas are often associated with several gynaecological problems such as dysmenorrhea, irregular pelvic pain and menorrhagia [3].

Cardiovascular mortality and morbidity following radical radiotherapy for lung cancer: is cardiovascular death under-reported?
To view the full text, please login as a subscribed user or purchase a subscription. Click here to view the full text on ScienceDirect. Highlights •Cardiac toxicity from lung cancer radiotherapy is a recognised side effect. •Cardiac death is under-reported in patients who received lung cancer radiotherapy. •This adds to the difficulty of investigating radiotherapy related cardiac damage. Abstract Background Lung cancer is the most common malignancy worldwide.
Abstract No. 641 Single-institution analysis of renal cell carcinoma treatment modalities: nephrectomy versus ablation
To view the full text, please login as a subscribed user or purchase a subscription. Click here to view the full text on ScienceDirect. Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) accounts for roughly 3% of adult malignancies and 95% of primary kidney neoplasms. Increasing earlier diagnosis of the disease, specifically in the case of small renal masses (SRM) (<4 cm) has been noted, with 74,000 new cases of RCC in the US in 2019.
Nonlinear optical response spatial self-phase modulation in MoTe2: correlations between χ(3) and mobility or effective mass
Abstract We report on an unambiguous observation of the third-order nonlinear optical effect, spatial self-phase modulation (SSPM), in a MoTe2 dispersion. The values of the third-order nonlinear optical coefficients effectively for one-layer MoTe2, χone-layer(3), are obtained through the SSPM method at excitation wavelengths 473, 532, 750, and 801 nm, respectively. The wind-chime model is used to explain the ring formation time.
