Fabian Weiss’s Biography
Fabian Weiss is a freelance photographer based in Estonia and member of the German photo agency LAIF. Since his studies in photojournalism in London, Aarhus and Vienna, his projects explore cultural changes in personal structures in Europe and eastwards. Searching for telling gestures, the cinematic images he creates are acutely observed portraits within a broader assessment of the surrounding culture. Fabian’s work has been exhibited and published in media outlets worldwide, such as Der Spiegel, Die Zeit, GEO, Le Monde and The New York Times. His work has been honoured by the CNN Journalist Award, the German Photo Book Prize and the Getty Images Emerging Talent Award, among others.
