In general, group interventions show good results in reducing symptoms of post-traumatic stress, burnout, anxiety and depression in healthcare personnel exposed to daily stress. We did not find any group interventions for moral injury. Cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, EMDR and acceptance and commitment therapy present better results in reducing distress compared to other approaches such as discussion groups, art therapy or the systemic approach.
