2.2. Data Analysis 2.2.1. Preprocessing Two distinct preprocessing procedures were performed on the data, depending on the analysis. In both cases, EEG data were first preprocessed using pyPREP [38], a Python implementation of the PREP pipeline [39] that provides a standardized EEG preprocessing procedure. After initial preprocessing with the PREP pipeline, the data were further preprocessed with different methods for each experiment.
