Story I’m Alan Corcoran from Waterford, Ireland. I raised €45,000 for cancer, stroke, and sports charities by becoming the first to run a lap of Ireland (35 marathons in 35 consecutive days) and the first to swim the length of Ireland (500 km sea swim). Watching 'Eddie Iz Running' and reading 'Hell and High Water' inspired me to pursue my ambitions after my dad, Milo, suffered a stroke in 2011 and died from cancer in 2016. Documentaries and books sparked positive action in moments of despair.
