1. Introduction The history of human land use is characterized by continuous reorganization of the land to adapt its use and spatial structure to changing human needs [1,2]. These changes in land use have resulted in the transformation of Earth’s surface landscapes from natural ecosystems such as forests and grasslands to anthropogenic landscapes like residential areas, agricultural zones, and roads, and this transformation has reached approximately 50% since the advent of agriculture [3,4,5,6].
