Abstract Timely percutaneous coronary intervention is the most effective initial therapy for the acute myocardial infarction. However, the mechanism of energy metabolism and dynamics of the cell heterogeneity underlying coronary reperfusion remains largely unknown. In this study, we created an integrative map of cardiac cells using bulk and single-nucleus RNA-seq combined with metabolomic profiling of hearts with reperfusion at distinct time points post infarction in rats.
