There is a 15.5% discrepancy in the diagnosis of Lyme borreliosis according to the IDSA and ESCMID guidelines. About half of the cases were misdiagnosed, and half of the patients were given inappropriate antibiotic regimens according to the guidelines. Neuroborreliosis is the most common manifestation of Lyme borreliosis leading to misdiagnosis.

1. Introduction Acinetobacter baumannii is a non-fermenting gram-negative pathogen, playing a major role in nosocomial infections, especially in the intensive care units [1]. A. baumannii is a pathogen of concern due to its extensive ability to survive on dry and abiotic surfaces for at least 20 days, tolerate desiccation as well as high temperatures, and gain resistance to many available antimicrobial treatments, especially carbapenems such as meropenem and imipenem [2,3,4].
