ABSTRACT Children’s mental health in Australia is a prominent social issue requiring new and innovative approaches to treatment. The limitations in effectiveness and accessibility of common interventions leave room for alternatives to gain popularity. Equine-assisted intervention (EAI) is one alternative addressing the barriers to child mental health support.

ABSTRACT Concerns about white dominance in social work have led to various scholarly works exploring potential avenues for the decolonisation of the profession. As a contribution to this work, this article presents the various processes that the authors have engaged with to create a space for diverse theories and perspectives to be integrated within the social work curriculum. This work can enable a holistic and decolonising learning experience for social work students.

Abstract This study aims to examine attitudes toward the inclusion of intellectual disabled people in Algeria. A total of 332 participants living in the province of Jijel (Algeria) were selected to measure their attitudes toward accessibility, assistance, autonomy, rights and self-advocacy for intellectually disabled persons. Data were analyzed using the mean, t-test, ANOVA and LSD tests.
