Methods: We integrated single-cell transcriptomics of a therapy-progressive lesion with large-scale bulk transcriptomic modeling and independent clinical validation.
Clcn6 mRNA and ClC-6 protein expression in mouse central nervous system
Abstract To investigate the expression patterns of Clcn6 mRNA and ClC-6 protein in postnatal mouse of distinct region of central nervous system (CNS) and developmental stages. Distinct CNS regions, including cerebral cortex, hippocampus, cerebellum, brainstem, olfactory bulb, hypothalamus, corpus striatum, thalamus and spinal cord, were dissected from C57BL/6 wildtype mice at different developmental stages, including P0, P7, P14, P30, and P60. Total RNA and protein were extracted.
Repeated restraint stress enhances visual plasticity through locus coeruleus (LC)-V1 projection in adult mice
Abstract Stress modulates a broad range of brain functions, including the visual system. However, the specific neural mechanisms by which stress regulates function and plasticity in the adult visual system remain unclear. This study demonstrates that repeated restraint stress selectively enhances ocular dominance plasticity (ODP) in the primary visual cortex (V1) of adult mice. This stress-induced reinstatement of ODP depends on noradrenergic (NE) signaling.
