An interpretable machine learning model for predicting response to anti-GD2 combined with umbilical cord blood-derived natural killer cell immunotherapy in neuroblastoma
Abstract Background: Neuroblastoma remains a major therapeutic challenge for children with high-risk or relapsed/refractory disease. Anti-GD2 therapy combined with umbilical cord blood-derived natural killer (UCB-NK) cell therapy represents an emerging strategy, but responses vary substantially. Imaging and bone marrow assessments require specialized resources, creating a need for complementary tools based on routinely available data.
The Value of Systemic Immune-Inflammation Index in the Occurrence and Prognosis of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss: A Meta-Analysis
1 Introduction Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) is an otologic emergency whose epidemiological burden, health risks and treatment outcomes have become critical issues in global public health and otology. It features a rapid onset of hearing loss, typically within 72 h, affecting three or more consecutive frequency thresholds by 30 dB or more [1].
Lorlatinib monotherapy or combination therapy in anaplastic lymphoma kinase–driven high-risk neuroblastoma
Abstract This study evaluated the clinical efficacy and safety of lorlatinib in 25 patients with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) -driven neuroblastoma. Among 17 evaluable patients, the objective response rate (ORR) was 64.7% (11/17). All six newly diagnosed high-risk patients who received lorlatinib in combination with induction chemotherapy achieved an objective response.
CAMK1D activates AMPK/PINK1/Parkin-dependent mitophagy to promote enzalutamide resistance in prostate cancer - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract Although androgen receptor (AR)-targeted therapies, such as enzalutamide, initially improve outcomes of prostate cancer (PCa) patients, resistance inevitably develops, partly driven by prostate cancer stem-like cells (PCSCs). However, the molecular mechanisms linking the maintenance of PCSCs to enzalutamide resistance (ENZR) remain incompletely elucidated. Here, we implicate Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 1D (CAMK1D) in PCSC-mediated ENZR.
Bioequivalence Study of Tadalafil Oral Soluble Film and Tadalafil Tablet in Healthy Chinese Volunteers Under Fasting Conditions
1 Introduction Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common disease in andrology, which brings about not only an unsatisfactory sexual experience but also mental distress. The prevalence of ED increased from 6% to 64% with age [1], and it was predicted that the ED-affected population worldwide would increase to about 322 million by 2025 [2]. In the treatment of ED, phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors have become the first-line choice [3].

Epigenetic modulation with nanosatellite triggers tumoricidal immunity for hepatocellular carcinoma treatment - Nature Communications
Abstract Epi-immunotherapy appears promising for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treatment, but immunosuppressive macrophages limit the capacity of epigenetic regulation to activate T cell-mediated tumoricidal immunity.

Expanding the Narrative at the Davenport House
Written by FEIFEI SUN Photos courtesy ALEXANDRA CHAN IT’S A NEW YEAR — and a new direction — for the Davenport House Museum with the launch of “Old Chan Magic: Chinese Roots, Southern Branches,” which opens Jan. 16 and runs through May. This marks the first time the museum, which is owned and operated by the Historic Savannah Foundation, will feature an exhibition focused outside of the 1820s, when the Davenport family and its household staff lived in the residence.
Enson Market Brings Global Goods Local
Written by FEIFEI SUN Photography by JASON B. JAMES DURING THE LATE ’90s in Savannah, the grocery store my family frequented most wasn’t a chain known for its subs or its 10 for $10 deals. Once a week or so, we stopped into Chinatown Market, a nondescript brick building in an unusual part of town, as far as grocery stores go, on the corner of Price and Henry streets downtown.
A Forecast Heuristic of Back Propagation Neural Network and Particle Swarm Optimization for Annual Runoff Based on Sunspot Number
1. Introduction Runoff forecast is key to the optimal usage of water resources, sediment regulation and water-related disaster mitigation [1,2,3,4]. However, annual runoff time series are currently being reshaped by natural and human factors, like climate change [5,6], solar activity [7], dam constructions [8], and water intake [9].

Consecutive Year-by-Year Planning of Grid-Side Energy Storage System Considering Demand-Side Response Resources
1. Introduction Influenced by the rigid growth of power demand and the insufficient production of large supportive power sources in recent years, the overall power supply of some provinces in China is tightening [1]. Energy storage, with its fast response characteristics, can assist in providing peak power demand and alleviate the tight supply situation [2,3,4,5].

Natural Notes - Savannah Magazine
Take a sip of what’s trending in Savannah’s wine scene THE POPULARITY of natural wine has reached a fever pitch in recent years, and the term “natural” has been thrown around to describe everything from organic and biodynamic grapes, to the funky, kombucha-like taste of some wines that are frequently natural — and frequently not. What actually makes a wine “natural” is far more simple: wine that’s had minimal intervention in its production.
