Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus C4 Suppresses Antiviral Immunity by Targeting the 14-3-3 Protein SlTFT2
1 Introduction Geminiviruses are a globally distributed group of plant viruses that infect a wide range of crops, causing severe diseases that result in substantial economic losses and pose a serious threat to food security. These viruses possess either monopartite (DNA-A) or bipartite (DNA-A and DNA-B) single-stranded circular DNA genomes, approximately 2.5–5.2 kb in size, which encode four to nine genes. Several of these genes are involved in pathogenicity and viral movement.
