A New Species in the Canthon indigaceus Species Group (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Scarabaeinae) from the Mexican Pacific Coast
1. Introduction The subgenus Canthon extends from central Argentina to Alberta, Canada. In Mexico, eighteen species and subspecies and five species groups have been recorded (pilularius with one species, humectus with nine species/subspecies, indigaceus with three species, cyanellus with three subspecies, and morsei with one species) [1,2].
