Woods Over the past two decades, significant efforts have been devoted to creating a new paradigm for the fabrication and deployment of nuclear power plants. These efforts include development of a variety of reactor designs aimed at increasing efficiency, flexibility, and safety.

From Nov. 30 to Dec. 11, the United Nations 21st Conference of the Parties (COP-21) addressing global climate change will be held in Paris. Despite the recent terrorist attacks there, all 130 world leaders originally expected to attend are still planning to participate. Five years of work at previous conferences and in staff have produced action plans that will be reviewed, discussed and possibly signed by the participating national representatives.
